Project goals
The main goal was a representative, dynamic and technologically modern website that works as a personal portfolio and information hub. It mattered to the client that the site is fast, easy to use and easy to adapt to new content and seasonal updates.
My solutions
- I created a unique design conveying a sporting character and an atmosphere of professionalism
- I built the website from scratch with a custom structure: home page, career, achievements, news, contacts
- I set up convenient content management so the client can easily update season information, sponsors and news
- I optimised the website for fast loading and SEO basics
- I made sure it works on mobile devices so the content stays smooth and tidy everywhere.
Implementation
The project was built on the WordPress content management system with a custom theme and custom features. The front end uses HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, and the design was created directly in code, without design mock-up tools.
Results
- A visually distinctive and professional website reflecting the racing driver’s personality and sporting image
- Better online visibility for the athlete and better ways to present sponsors
- A simple content management system lets the client run the site independently
- The website is fast, stable and ready for long-term communication.
